Consecrating Our New Team Banner (帅旗开光)

On 7 June 2026, TianDi held the consecration ceremony for our new team banner (帅旗开光).

In lion dance tradition, a new lion head or team banner is not simply used straight away. It first goes through 开光, an eye-opening and blessing ritual that awakens the spirit within and invites good fortune for the team and everyone it performs for.

The banner now leads our team at every competition and major performance, carrying the words that define us: 天赐龍腾传九州, 天地献狮艺扬四海.

These rituals are why a lion dance performance is more than entertainment. When our lions arrive at your grand opening or celebration, they carry generations of tradition and blessing with them.
